Troy Lucia is a composer, musician, and educator with a lifelong passion for helping students grow as musicians and creative thinkers. A graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, he has taught privately for over 25 years and served on the faculty of New Schools Music and Richman School of Music. Many of his high school students have gone on to study music in college.

Troy has served as Music Director and Musical Director at churches in New England and Georgia, including Methodist, Lutheran, and Baptist congregations. He has directed many shows, earning recognition as Best New Hampshire Community Theater Music Director for The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

In addition to teaching, Troy is finishing a solo piano album, Outgrowing, and produced his wife’s singer-songwriter album, To Be Yes. He is also available for original compositions, arrangements, and album production.

Troy lives in Monroe, Georgia, with his wife and two daughters, ages 7 and 11. When not teaching or composing, he enjoys spending time with family and sharing his love of music with the community.
