About Troy

I’m Troy Lucia — a composer, educator, and music director with over 25 years of private teaching experience. A graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, I’ve worked with students of all ages and experience levels, helping them grow in skill, confidence, and creativity.

In addition to teaching, I serve as Music Director at Oak Road Lutheran Church, compose original works, and produce recordings, including my solo piano album Outgrowing and my wife’s singer-songwriter album To Be Yes. My students range from beginners exploring composition for the first time to advanced musicians preparing portfolios for college or professional projects.
